Why should my company book a Saxophone Player for out Corporate Party, Work Event or Networking Evening?

If you’re planning to have a successful corporate event then atmosphere is everything. Whether you are organising a company celebration, networking evening, awards ceremony, product launch or just a good old-fashioned office party then the right entertainment choice can completely transform the experience for your guests. One increasingly popular choice is a roaming solo saxophonist… and for good reason!

A sax player will bring energy, sophistication and live interaction that traditional playlists simply can’t match, enhancing the guest experience naturally without dominating the room. They will create a memorable atmosphere and, more importantly, a focal point for your guests to talk about and be entertained by. This works particularly well for networking events where the biggest challenge is to encourage conversation and make guests feel relaxed. Live saxophone music provides the ideal backdrop; energetic enough to create ambience but not so much that it doesn’t allow comfortable conversation. A solo saxophonist is an excellent ice-breaker!

Unlike static performers who stay on stage, a roaming saxophonist will move through the crowd, interacting with the guests creating an immersive musical experience. A good roaming saxophonist will recognise the guests who are keen to be engaged and will be respectful to those wanting to have an uninterrupted conversation. Guests often film and share live performances on social media, helping generate positive exposure for your event (and the player!) As a saxophonist creates fantastic photo opportunities perfect for marketing content and future promotions.

Most roaming saxophonists are very versatile and are used to playing weddings, corporate events and parties (high energy and otherwise). So if your company is hosting a networking event, a corporate party, awards evening, product launch, gala dinner, Christmas party or a conference reception then hiring a saxophonist as part of the entertainment is a premium option for both formal and informal settings. Their flexibility allows them to read the room well and can switch between relaxed lounge or high energy dance music. A skilled saxophone player can provide elegant background music during drinks receptions and networking before increasing the energy levels later on in the evening for a big party atmosphere!

From a practical point of view, the solo saxophonist is space efficient, requires less set up and is much cheaper than hiring a band, complex stage productions or troupe of performers so is a fantastic choice for any budget, as well as fitting comfortably in and on offices, hotels, restaurants, rooftop venues, exhibition halls and private corporate spaces.
