I booked Nick to perform at our wedding! And wow what an amazing job he done on the saxophone! Couldn't have asked for any better.. we had alot of entertainment for the day and he just made it fun and easy work to fit in with everything going on. Was an absolute pleasure to have you there. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Saxophone player! Will be getting in touch for future events!
We found Nick by total accident, we never really considered having a Sax player at our wedding but we are so pleased we did. From the first email exchanges we got a great vibe from Nick and we are so pleased we booked him. He took the time to learn some songs we had requested and by having him play set the tone of our whole wedding which was upbeat, fun, personal and special. Our guests all commented on how great he was and loved the mix of music styles he played. Nick, thank you so much for making our reception so brilliant!
Nick was absolutely fantastic and the soul of the party for my 30th birthday garden celebrations! He came recommended via facebook and he did not disappoint. He arrived early and even delayed playing until a friend had arrived. I would 100% recommend him for anyone who is looking for a saxophonist player to get everyone on the dance floor. Nick Pike was amazing from start to finish! When we first contacted him, we were a little apprehensive as we had some quite specific ideas about what kind of set list we wanted. Nick was really helpful as he was easy to contact and he was extremely keen to make sure that our set list was exactly what we wanted. He sent through some samples and we chose our favourites from those. He even learnt a few extras that we had specially requested like the nodding dog! On the day of the party, Nick arrived in plenty of time and was flexible in fitting his sets around other parts of the party, so that everybody could enjoy his music properly. Although we didn’t need them, Nick offered the use of his speakers between sets to keep the party going, which would be really handy if you didn’t have your own. Nick joined right in with the party vibe and really made the night. Every single guest mentioned how much they had enjoyed hearing him play. I would 100% recommend him!
We had Nick Pike playing sax at the drinks and canapés part of my son’s wedding at Nonsuch House. He was amazing. The selection of music was perfect and background feel of the music during all the chat that was going on was great. Throughly recommend Nick. He was easy to deal with and responded to all our questions on a timely basis. You couldn’t do any better and the music was great!
I've worked and hired Nick in several capacities - as a saxophonist, on keyboard, and as a composer. He is brilliant to work with and really cares about understanding what you're after. He's really flexible and has accommodated last minute changing goalposts with ease. Wouldn't hesitate to book him again!
Nick played a saxophone solo set at our wedding last year. He was extremely punctual and had created a fab mix of songs including some of my own requests. This included Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles which we particularly enjoyed as this is one I love to play on the piano. His whole set helped create the perfect ambiance that we had hoped for. Nick went down extremely well with our guests as well and everyone said how friendly he was on top of being a superb saxophonist! I would highly recommend Nick to play at a wedding or any sort of celebration you may be hosting.
On 20th July this year Nick Pike provided the music for our West Sussex Golf Club Summer BarBQ and Party, and he really made the whole thing go with a swing. At the start he played some well-known ballads as background music to the meal, and then followed up with some more jazzy numbers which persuaded a good number of guests to dance. His expert solo sax had excellent backing from his own sound system and speakers, and he played almost non-stop from about 2pm to 5pm. Great music beautifully played - thank you Nick!
Nick is a true professional and we have hired him time and time again as a session Saxophonist in our wedding band. Incredibly talented player as well as a fantastic performer and person!
