What is Perfect Saxophone Music for Cocktail Hour vs. Reception Vs. The Afterparty?

Saxophone music has become an increasingly popular choice for weddings, corporate events and private parties thanks to its versatility, and ability to completely transform the atmosphere of a room.

However, not all saxophone performances suit every part of an event. The perfect soundtrack for a relaxed cocktail hour is very different from the energy needed during a lively reception or late-night afterparty. Unlike cocktail hour, the reception is where audience interaction becomes important. Guests are more likely to dance, sing along and engage directly with the performer. A confident saxophonist moving through the crowd can completely transform the energy of the room.

The Afterparty

...is where the rules loosen and the music can become bold, loud and energetic. By this stage, guests want a fun, immersive experience that keeps the celebration going late into the night.
